There are thousands of places to stay in Lisbon. We went looking for the ones worth living in — the apartment with the best light in the building, the quiet street you'd never find, the kitchen you'd actually cook in. Most didn't make it. The ones that did become a Varanda.
Every home is visited in person — morning and evening — before we say yes. Light, noise, water pressure, the chair you'd actually read in. If we wouldn't stay, we don't list.
A Varanda home isn't a unit number. Each one is named for its character and matched to a personality — so you book the home that fits the way you live.
The people who chose the apartment are the people who answer when you write. Concierge, neighbourhood know-how and honest advice included, never upsold.
